My server running on my NVIDIA Shield Pro recently stopped working and I had to uninstall and reinstall the plex server on it to get it working again. I’m attempting to re-add some movie folders that are on an attached USB drive. I am able to see the folders and select them to add to the library however after it scans it is not finding any media. I am able to browse to the media files from my PC as a network location and play them on the PC. When I tell the server to scan the folders it is able to do so and I see it scanning all the subfolders. Still not getting any media to show on the plex player. I also have already set the storage location on the NVIDIA Plex Media server to the USB drive.
Am I missing something? I don’t remember having to do anything else the last time I set this up so I’m not sure what is happening here. Media is all there, libraries are pointed at it, server is running and showing up on players; just no media.
I ended up deleting the database from the storage location and resetting he server creating a new one. This seems to fixed the issue as item are showing up now after the libraries were added again.
