This is my first try with a NAS and I have installed plex multiple times, created the libraries correctly, and added permissions correctly but still do not have the option to download a movie to a directory. I have a DS720+ with DSM 7.1-42661 Update 2
Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.27.1.5891-c29537f86-x86_64_DSM7
Player Version#: Version 1.46.1.3056-ab91bdc0
Does anyone have any ideas on what I did not address correctly?
In Plex/web,

Download is only available to the owner account.
Thanks for the reply. I know where it should be but I do not have the option. These are the only options I see.
Are you certain you’re logged in as the user which owns the server?
The options you’re missing are those the owner/admin would have.
What exactly are you trying to download? You cannot download content from our streaming service which is what those limited options look like they are for.
This is all new to me so I have done multiple installs and deletions while learning. But I created the whole environment and I am surprised I do not have those options. It’s driving me crazy.
What are you trying to download. take a screenshot of entire screen. which app are you using
