I have an issue with PlexAmp. my songs are stuttering on my device only

I recently switched from an iPhone 11 to the newest iPhone 17 Pro max. I am also running iOS beta 26.2. My wife also has the new 17 Pro Max (also made the change), but she is running the normal iOS. I have checked 2 other devices (My dad and my wife) and all the songs play perfectly there.

On my device, the songs stutter a lot. I can’t figure out what it is. I have cleared cache, nothing happens. I have clear cached (on the app) and deleted the app, then re-download and play again, and still stutters.

I can also play the media from the NAS itself and there is no stuttering in the songs. everything is normal, so at this point, I don’t know what it is. I have gone through at least 2 iOS updates and nothing gets fixed. So I’m asking if someone knows or have gone through this, that they could shed more light on this. I want to fix it. I thought about removing the library and adding it again, but I would do that if the issue was happening on every device. But it is not, it’s only on mine, so I don’t know what else to do. please help.

the version that i am running is: Version 1.43.0.10231

It did correct the issue from my test. I installed, restarted, retried skipping track, still skips, cleared plexamp cache, retried track, no skipping.

I personally thought this was an issue with the new ffmpeg codec, as the issue has only occured when I moved to recent betas. I think v6 was new to Plex?

Also, I thought it may have just been opus files, but now I’m wondering if it’s detecting the codec right.

It was an issue between the media server and ffmpeg.

I have a docker container of plex running on a synology NAS on 7.2
Which one am I supposed to get? also, will this be patched on a new version?

Was this issue fixed? I responded to you earlier and see no response. I also see this post set as solved. My tracks are still skipping.

If you were running beta media server, delete cache (Plexamp settings) and upgrade to latest PMS (beta or stable).
