Recently i have noticed that the playback on my Plexamp instance is “skipping”, similar to the old times with scratchy CDs. First i thought its some bad rips, but the issue is happening on almost every track that were playing back fine before. The skipping is 100% reproducible when rewinding the track to the same point.
However, when playing back the same track via plex web, the skipping is not there.
I think the clipping is added when transcoding higher bitrate data to Opus
