hello i have issue logging in to server it says something on our end so its an issue with you or what it seems not to be working?

As frustrating as this is, the silver lining is that it educates devs on how to mitigate the situations in the future. Hopefully we get to a model where we aren’t dependent on Plex.tv availability.

I think this could serve as lessons for Plex managers. If they have a problem, everyone has a problem.

For me, if a problem occurs on Plex servers, paid users should still have the option to connect (at least internally) to their server.

On my LG TV, I have the opportunity to connect to a server internally, but even so, this failure does not allow me to connect.

I would at least like to see the Plex Status show red instead of all green on the status site. I was just editing users and adding to the db when this happened. I thought I did something!!

Like the Remote icon with a green checkmark, I wish they had a Status page that would show you if there are issues with your server and theirs.

Status page at plex actually says there is a major outage. https://status.plex.tv

It does now!!! It didn’t when I started having an issue. This should be a self monitoring link that when I cannot access the server, it would show the same when it does it’s own regular authentication check.

so all of us moaning need to wait its clear its effecting every using plex app/server (not aimed at poster of origianl message)
