Clicked on my recently downloaded named folder. It opens up my other media folder pr0n. My adult movies. Please fix. Can’t see what was updated in folder unless I use iphone plex app and check manually.
I’m not sure i understand the problem. We can’t change you folder structure. Move the pron folder out of whatever parent folder plex is looking at for that library.
It is suggested you not point a library at a generic downloads folder. That will cause all sorts of problems.
The problem isn’t the downloads. It’s the plex website after I launch I go to a folder and it redirects to another folder which happens to be pr0n. so I cannot look at my contents of folder unless im on fire stick or plex app on iPhone.
It just doesn’t work on web browser form when I cannot view the contents of my recently downloaded folder.
Edit:how do I add screen video I took on iPhone ? It marked it as spam when I replied to this via email. It was an iCloud link
Does it do that on your computer or only your phone?
It Does this both on windows 10 pc and iphone safari. Plex app works fine i can open the folder and view contents its just that on pc fire fox and internet explorer as well as iphone safari it opens up another media library folder that is above the folder im trying to view. Its like its the same link to click on as the other media library folder.
EDIT: Same address bar exactly as the other media libary folder. Recently Downloaded and pr0n.
iphone is jailbroken but the plex app on iphone works flawlessly.

On your computer can you see if it does the same in an Incognito/private window?
Do you know how to find out what the section numbers are for your libraries? In command prompt copy past this in ( assuming you have server installed in default place) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex Media Scanner.exe" --list
it should give you the ID number of each library.
In the URL you should see the section number which equals the library number.
As an example this is the URL to my movie library you see sections%2F44 twice. The 44 is my movie library ID.

So change the URL section ID number manually to whatever is your recently downloaded library that keeps changing. (I want to see if the browser redirects you again)
When i copy and paste that the library for pr0n was section id was 11 and recently downloaded was 1. I didnt wanna change the url to the movie library. So i ended up deleting the media library from plex. Then i just added it again for both pr0n and recently downloaded. I Now can check the folder i want since it is no longer the same url link as pr0n. The url id sectionchanged to 32 and then 33.
OK I did not mean to actually change your movie library was just using that as an example of the URL to type in manually. but since you created new libraries is every thing working now?
Yep. But everything in both media library says 39 minutes ago.
