Every time I start the Windows 10 Plex app this screen appears and I need to Cutomize my media.
Any idea why and how I can stop it?
Bonus question - I see that my language settings never stay, it alwasy revert back to “Afrikaans”
Been getting this on Win 11 too, also when i try to change artwork the dialog box in windows won’t let me select an image and the only work around is to close plex and reopen it
That’s a very old version.
Perform the thorough uninstallation by
removing “Plex” using the Apps control panel
empty out the data folder in C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Plex
Then download the latest installer and run it.

I was under the impression that the app would let me know if there was an updated version available.
I’ve now updated and hoping this issue has been resolved.
Did you find an answer to this? I am having the same issue. After the server question, it asks “Customize your Media?”, so it resets the left navigation column and my whole screen every time.

Yes, After updating my Windows 10 app the problem appeared to be solved.
This was the Microsoft store Plex app and not the plex website? Did you have the same issue with the plex website, mobile and desktop?
If you did update Win10 OS, any chance this was your update?
This was the Windows 10 app downloaded from Plex, not the Microsoft store.

I hardly use the website version so I can not tell if it was present there. It was not present in the iOS version.
I did not update the Windows 10 OS when troubleshoothing this issue. The issue was fixed well before April 25 when the update you link to is dated.
