I NEED HELP ! ** willing to pay for your time**

Since 2013 i have run a Plex server on 3-4 different devices (Mac, PC ), I have never had a problem that was easily solvable. Fast forward to last Friday; I received a notification email from Tautulli that my server was " Not available outside your network", I found it strange as nothing has changed since I ported the server over to a new PC I build (the transfer was flawless). SO I began to read posts here about the same topic, I scoured Reddit and YouTube. I then spent a total of over 12 hours looking at Windows 11 configuration, Firewall off / on, Public / Private network, Firewall in and outbound settings. Deleted and re created a port forward in my ISP modem / router. Absolute nothing I tossed at it has worked. To boot (not sure if related or not) my Bluetooth function vanished, not showing in task manager or elsewhere…I am at present not sure if I should laugh hysterically or curl up in the far corner of my office and sob, I am simply at my wids end here.

A few years back I connected with a fellow “Plexer” here and chatted about hardware etc. He was from the UK (i’m in Canada) and offered to assist me in giving my then PC an “tune up” and ensure my Plex Server was optimized. He remoted in to my PC and did an awesome job for which I paid him for his time by sending $$ through PayPal…I have searched the forums hoping to find him but to no avail.

I am therefore hoping that there is a IT wizard on PC and Plex that is willing to save my sanity by having a close look at my “mess”, correct what is needed and tweak things back to early last week when all was rainbows and unicorns. To answer one of the question that I am sure you think of: Yes I tried to back date BUT I was an idiot in swapping out the HDD designated for the backup without paying any attention to this. So ixnay on that solution.

I have attached a log file which I hope depicts the access issue, I can generate others if needed.

Did you try and check your open ports at https://canyouseeme.org/ this is what helped my figure out what was wromg with my setup. It was working with relay turned on but it would go in and out. I finally figured out my gateway needed a port forward and firewall rule to go along with it. If your using windows you will probably have to do that on your router and windows. Verify the port are open. If not its not set up right.

Do what @sleepy3103 says – use an external tool to check if port forwarding is working. Do not rely on the Tautulli message and definitely do not use the port checking test that you can find in the web app settings.
