Hi just recently signup for plex but i am worried. I never upload content on any cloud due to privacy problems. So i want to know its safe ? And its just work for streaming or its 1st download content in his cloud and then stream? Bcz i dont want to share my personal pic and videos or something like that

Your media stay on your personal Plex server (which is your own computer at home).

Connections to the Plex clients are encrypted (unless you deactivate that).

If it is illegal in your country to pirate movies, it remains illegal.
Using Plex won’t change that in any way.

But then again, Plex Inc. doesn’t know which movie you play. All it knows is “a file with these technical data and an approximate length of xx minutes is played.”
(file size and play durations are rounded in telemetry to make identification impossible)

Consuming pirated content that you know is pirated is illegal, at least in the US, no matter how you do it. But there are levels of illegality. The content police are mostly interested in those that share the content with others not those that just consume.

Also nothing that identifies you and attaches content to you is ever exposed outside your network.

Many people here own, or have recorded, everything they have on their Plex system but even those folks may be technically in violation if they share outside their network. However I do not remember anyone using Plex being prosecuted for that use even if they share their content with others outside their network.

Bottom line is that no one has a reasonable way to know what is being watched on your computer or network unless they directly access your home network. I would not worry about Plex compromising your piracy but rather it is more appropriate to worry over how pirated content is acquired.
