No, Plex does not have a native feature to randomly play movie trailers as an idle screensaver on the home screen. Its trailer functionality is almost exclusively designed to play before you start a specific movie.
I figured by now we have at least some new features that make my system look like Netflix!
I mean, you guys figured a way to have POP-UP ads when streaming Plex’s own channels
