If I update my PS3 Plex app, it bricks the app, and now I get a 404 error when I open the app

I can’t stream anything due to the 404 error now. Not to mention every time I open the app, it yells at me to update, but then all it does after the update is error “you can’t play this game with the current video settings.”

Is there anything being done about this? I’ve tried both my PS3s, with multiple wipes and redownloads. Even tried reformatting one of them.

No update to this from anyone? I’m having basically the same issue. I download the app fresh from the Store, I open it and it says it requires an update. It sits on 0% for like 2-5 minutes then errors out. PS4 upstairs runs just fine.
