Sorry there appears to be a problem connection

Hey guys.

So I have an issue with my PS4 Plex App. I try to open the app and I don’t even get to the home menu; I just get an error message saying “Sorry, there appears to be a problem connecting. Please try again later.”

Anyone know how to fix this?

As a note, sometimes I do get through and get to the menu… but I can’t play anything. It just times out, but if I stay on the screen long enough where it says Go Back I can hear the episode audio start in the background.

Yep, I’m getting it to on my PS3.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but same result… Sorry there appears top be a problem.

I can still access my Plex server via DLNA. It’s just the app that seems to be broken.

This must have occurred within the last 12 hours, ass everything was working fine at that stage

This is still happening for me.

I can access the app, and get to the home menu, but it keeps stopping to load and won’t do anything for a few seconds.

Why does it have to load? It’s over the same network, right? It shouldn’t need to buffer if it’s local.

Please fix this.

Still happening here too, app is ridiculously slow and I get a disconnect after each episode I watch (If I can connect at all)

Even had an issue where the highlight broke so I did not know what I was clicking on.

I would suggest starting a new topic as this was probably was to do with the outage of plex.tv on 18th july
