[implemented] Add 'Labels' category to Custom Filter

Hello!

I would like to have the ability to show only items that have no labels assigned.
This way I could see the movies that I haven’t shared yet in order to chose which ones to share from those.

Other’s I’ve talked to mentioned that they have three movies out of a large collection that don’t have a label and it’s impossible to tell which movies they are without looking one-by-one at each movie’s labels.

For this I would like to have a Labels category added to the Custom Filter.

This way it’d be possible to chose ‘contains’ or ‘does not contain’ and then add the according label – It’d then be possible to see all movies that don’t have the label.

I think this would be a relatively uncomplicated solution which could give the people who need this feature the freedom to filter their movies the way they want.

Thanks!

And equally importantly, the ability to see which titles do not have a label. Since I label all my titles, I need an easy way to find any titles I forgot to label.

Yes. Please add this. I was excited to see the change to filtering only to be let down that I cannot filter by “is not” “somelabel”

Thanks@

Plus 1. This is absolutely necessary to managing a library with labels. Without being able to see all movies without a certain label, we have to manually check each movie…and that is the opposite of convenience.

As I add movies to our library sometimes I forget to tag the kids discs as “Kids” which is what they have access to. I need to be able to filter all my movies to see which ones do NOT have Kids on them so I can scan thru what they may be missing and get them added, PLEASE add this feature before my kids kill me.

Another +1 for this option. I recently started using labels, and it’s killing me to not know what does or does not have a label.

+1, filtering out via label is some very simple sql to gain a ton of control.

+1 I use labels for assigning which tv shows appear for each user, and need to a way to see which shows have not yet been shared. Doing it manually is a pain.

+1 I would like to use boolean logic Filters. So if I have “Tag1” applied so some media, I could filter by “NOT Tag1” and see media without the tag.

Please don’t forget to add your vote. And please, look at the pinned announcements.

If you are just adding “+1” posts, you aren’t voting!

Any update on this? Seems fairly simple to add.

No update it seems. Still missing this feature a lot. With a growing library I have to go through each item step by step manually to check on the labels. Since it seems like an easy fix I really hope someone sees this so adding this will be considered.

Hey All,

Sad, that it’s been nearly two years now and we haven’t seen this addition to the filters even if it was added to the custom filters section?

+1 Form me too on this.

+1 There’s a lot that could be improved when it comes to parental controls (and/or the whole data management UI), but this would help tremendously.

I’d also like to see this

+1 This seems like a no brainer, being able to search by label (contains/does not contain)

Please can we have this. It could be as easy as being able to select from the list of labels, or “unlabelled”. Same goes for collections too.

Can you go to a TV Show or Movie Library, when it displays click the drop down selection for All and post a screenshot of what you see?
