Impossible to desactivate Captions on LIVE TV

Hello everybody,

I use Plex for watching the TV, and I have an issue on my Shield TV, the captions are actived by default and it’s impossible to desactivate. I’m obliged to watch the show with the captions. I paid for the Plex Pass, and I have this issue, and I have the impression that Plex don’t want to fix it…
This issue is not present on my android phone with the same version app.
When I use an another app, like Live Channel from Google, I haven’t the issue.

Please Plex, fix it!!!

What is your current configuration in Audio & Subtitle Settings

Do you by chance have set Auto-select subtitle mode to Always selected?
Based on your post I suppose the subtitle is actually selectable and can be disabled/enabled. If it is actually part of the video itself (burned-in), you won’t be able to change its behavior.

You can see my configuration.

And on the player, “no” is selected on subtiltes menu. With the same PLEX version on my android Phone, I haven’t this issue…
