In Plex HTPC, clicking on a button with the mouse may register a click on a different element

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639 (Ubuntu)
Player Version#: Plex HTPC Windows 1.53.0.4063-cdc1f574

In Plex HTPC, if you click on a UI element that is too close to the pinned sources bar on the left, your click will actually be registered by the source button.

Here’s a specific example.

  1. From my Home screen, I navigate to this movie detail page, by selecting its poster in the Recently Added row. (select it via mouse or remote control, does not matter.)
  2. On this movie detail page, click the Play button with the mouse
  3. You are taken to the Music home page, as if you clicked on the Music pinned source.

This is 100% repeatable and I have seen variations of this for months.

I know we are not supposed to use a mouse in Plex HTPC, but the cursor is visible and so it should work as expected. I do remote in to this machine often to control playback and in that context mouse control is extremely useful.
