I imported Shining Time Station into my Plex server. The episodes don’t all have images on artwork sites to scrape from, so I assume the thumbnails were generated from the videos added.
During this add, one of the episodes somehow got a thumbnail for a random Anime?
I do not understand how this happened, as all my Anime is in a separate library handled by a separate scraper…yet somehow the data jumped between libraries and shows…
EDIT: To give importance to this, what if the image came from an Adult library.
It will need to be corrected at TheMovieDB and then after that is done you would need to wait 24-48 hours for it to propagate to Plex’s system.
In the meantime, hover over the thumbnail and then click the edit icon (pen icon) in the bottom left corner. Click on poster and check to see if there is another image to select and click on it and then click save changes and that will update the screenshot. I believe Plex will extract a screenshot from the file all the time in case a screenshot doesn’t exist from the metadata source. However, if no screenshot exists, you could generate your own and upload that from the same dialog I mentioned.
