Incorrect Metadata

I have set up Plex server on my QNAP TS 451+ so I can stream my own videos, music and pictures to my TV.
I am getting some interesting results with metadata e.g.
My home video called Xmas1.mp4 gets metadata that identifies it as
1-800 Xmas - Kevin Spacey promotes suicide prevention

My home video called Xmas2.mp4 gets metadata that identifies it as
Xmas Men 2 - Christian Family Feature Film Based on the True Bible Story of the 3 Wise Men, and Jesus, Mary and Joseph’s escape to Egypt.

It’s pretty harmless until my sister asks to see her children opening their Christmas presents and I pull up a film called “Horrendous Hobgoblins from Hell!”
Can I edit or turn off metadata? Can I delete what Plex has already collected?
I would much rather Plex just used my file names and directories that I have worked out very carefully over many years if that is possible.

Your current library is of the type “Movies”. That is not suitable for private videos. Delete this library in Plex. https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/plex-media-server/libraries/
Then create a new one of the type “Other Videos”.

Brilliant, thank you!
