Incredibly slow conversion for sync

Player Version#: 5.13

Syncing movies to iPad player from Windows 10 based Server. I don’t do this very often, but have in the past and usually conversion would run very fast. Now I am trying to get ready for a trip and syncing some movies, and conversion is running at around 0.2x! This is the exact same hardware as in the past, the only difference would be the plex versions.

Server is a Ryzen 7 1700x, GTX 980ti, 16gb ram, m.2 SSD drive
Media is on a Drobo5N, but access speed shouldn’t be an issue as I have no problem playing content on my AppleTV Plex App at 20Mbs setting

Are there currently other activities running on the server (like transcoded playbacks, optimizations etc)?

Is the server currently in its maintenance period?

Which bitrate did you select for the sync?

Which “speed” is selected under
Settings - Server - Transcoder - ‘Show Advanced’ - “Background transcodes”
?

Nothing else running on the server. Not during maintenance.

Not sure of the bitrate for sync, the quality setting chosen at sync time was “High” which is the same I always use.

Background Transcode is set to “Faster” and Hardware Acceleration is enabled.
