Hi all, i have a problem with my NAS 218play Synology and plex,
everything works correctly but only yesterday i receive a strange message, if i try to connect from my office to my nas (at home) with plex media server the system says that the connection is not direct, and this will cause problem with quality and streaming…why?
since today the connection was “remote”…

I’m having the same problem. Will be interested to here any responses.
Indirect on LAN means the NAS firewall is active and blocking the ports.
Indirect when remote means Remote Access is not accessible and must be relayed through Plex.tv
