Hi Plexperts! I use Plex on my PC for living room streaming on my roommate’s old XBox 360. Since upgrading to 1.0.0.2261 a few days ago (I had a .9.x version that I don’t remember the exact build/version number previously), I’m running into a single odd problem: When I access the Libraries, it lists both my Movies and TV Shows libraries. However, when I click on the TV Shows library, it will give me the following error:
There was an error communicating with your Plex Media Server. Make sure it’s turned on and accessible and try again.
I am able to bypass the error message by selecting my previously played media at the bottom of the screen, which will load fine despite being in the TV Shows library. Once this media begins playing, I can then successfully access the TV Shows library. Obviously I would like to cut this step out of my usual watching routine and am curious if anyone else has ran into this problem. It only occurs from the XBox (PC viewing is fine), began occurring when I upgraded versions, and only occurrs on the TV Shows library (Movies opens fine every time). I located and poked around in my Plex Media Server log files, but the only error I identified in the logs on my most recent recreation of the error is:

I’ve been using Plex for awhile but am pretty green at troubleshooting it, so I don’t even really know if that log is relevant.
