I tried downloading PlexHTPC on my son’s Windows laptop, it says it’ll take 5 hours so I quit.
I jumped on my Linux desktop (1GiB Fibre LAN connected for a reliable 100MiB download) and now see the speed even out at 8.69kb/s (using wget2 - which is a newer version of wget).
Why the throttling.
