Installed Plex from Amazon, cannot login

Player Version#: 9.30.0.3604
Bought Plex from Amazon but it won’t connect to my server. Don’t want to change my password as my Shield is doing very well with Plex and I’d like to leave it be. I know my associated email address and I know my password (confirmed by checking in Firefox). But authentication fails repeatedly.
