Just updated my password on the server, and signed out of all devices. Now, I can’t access any of my libraries with any of my android based apps (Nvidia Shield, Galaxy Tab, Flip 6 phone). I can get them on desktop webpage, but it requires to sign in again within your account settings. Can’t seem to find a way around in the android app, though. Any help would be appreciated.
Log out / Log back in. That will force the app to re-authenticate with plex.tv.
You can also try removing them from your list of Authorized Devices (which will also force you to login again): https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/android
Do not remove your server from the list of Authorized Devices, as that will unclaim it.
Done the log in out about 25 times already.
I am on Nvidia Shield TV pro and changed my password on Plex’s recommendation. I now cannot access my server, tried re-logging in many times but no luck. Help!
I’m glad other people are having problems, but could really use a solution.
Fixed it (finally). When I kept turning off plex server, I wasn’t actually quitting it. I just kept logging out (duh). When I went into the tray icon, and quit it there, and restarted it, everything worked. yesssssss!!!
