Most recent PMS update was not usable on my mac os 10.12.6. Saw on another post a link for version 1.31.3 for older mac os, which I installed, but when I try to open the server it freezes on the splash screen.
PMS 1.31.3.6868 should indeed be the final version running on macOS pre 10.13.
I’m wondering what splash screen you’re seeing as PMS doesn’t really have its own graphical user interface (aside of the web app)… is PMS running on your Mac? You should be able to verify if the Plex icon is showing in the menu bar (or via Activity Monitor).
Thx Tom - the splash screen I was referring to was using the web app, which I have used in the past to make sure the new version was running correctly on the Mac if I was experiencing issues on the Apple TV app. I found, after posting, that the Apple TV app is now working, so I’ll stick with that version of PMS until such time as I can upgrade my Mac. I am still confused about not being able to open Plex in the web browser (it still freezes on the Plex splash screen).
if things get stuck in your browser you can always test with another browser or disabling browser add-ons / plug-ins / extensions that might mess with the content.
