Updated PMS on macos 10.12 tried reinstalling old but no luck

So the PMS running on my macos 10.12 updated and then said it wasn’t compatible. I knew support would stop but didn’t think it would still try to update past what it could run. No biggie hopefully.

I can’t upgrade my Snow Leopard past 10.12. I am considering a Synology purchase as a replacement but i need this to hold out until then.

I tried to download and install an older version (is there an official source for these?) but after installation, when i try to get in the PLEX splashscreen comes up and stays there, never getting the where i can manage it.

All devices trying to access it can see my libraries but nothing works.

Help.

Thank you. It eventually worked - maybe just something with the ‘new’ install coallating the libraries.

I’m having the same issue, but using the link above (v.1.31.3) I still freeze on the splash screen. You said it “eventually” worked for you - did you take any additional steps to shake it loose?
