Internet bandwidth limited

Hello

I was trying to use an older laptop with fresh Windows 7 64 bit, and last plex server.
Problem is that on external connection with direct play or transcoding(just for testing, laptop configuration is not so powerful), it will get stuck at 5 Mbps. When starting to play the movie the bandwidth is jumping at 250-300 Mbps and after around 30 seconds is going down to 5 Mbps. There starts also buffering.
I was trying all the options on plex server, give high priority from windows to plex services, shut off firewall and anti-virus.
Nothing works…

On the same network I was using and raspberry with open media vault and plex server without any problems.

My internet connections are with 1 gb on both sides.

No idea how to fix the problems

I figured it out. Looks like the internet provider is using some firewall or something to limit my connection from server side :roll_eyes:
If someone have this problem don’t try to fix it something from server or device where you want to see the movie’s. Just change the provider
