I am running a 2.5gbps connection over a very straightforward ethernet connection from the plex server PC > 2.5gbps ethernet port on router > Hisense U8K 2.5gbps ethernet to USB 2.5gbps adapter, it registers as 2.5gbps on the router in both directions indicated by LED light colors being white for the Alta route 10 router, my PC ethernet connection registers as 2.5gbps in the settings panel and I have gotten over 100mbps recorded in resource monitor however, the stream seems to be only operating at 20-90mbps which causes a lot of buffering for my larger movies that I’d love to play without buffering, does anybody know if something is limiting my bandwidth somewhere either in the player or server settings?
