Invitations Users information

Hi, opening my Plex, I saw that I received a request from a user that I don’t know who he is

what do I do?
can I trust or is there any flaw underneath?

IMO I would absolutely not accept it. Hit the x to reject. They probably just saw your username on the forums and sent you an invite. Some people are just desperate for free movies and tv and have no shame in asking.

You can have your forum username to be something different than your Plex account username. here https://forums.plex.tv/my/preferences/account

I think the system is secure but why risk it over movies and tv shows.

But from what I understand and he who wants to share his library.
I don’t really understand this thing because a user makes me an invitation not to see my library but to see his library, I didn’t understand the meaning.

look at your logs and the folks you share with and see if you would like random people on the internet to have that info about you. one of the things they will have is your external IP address if you try to stream from his server for example.
