iOS 14 Plex App unable to browse Libraries

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3876
Player Version#: Latest iOS App Version

The Plex App on my iPhone (running latest iOS 14.3) is unable to browse Libraries on the plex server on my local network. I can connect to it, see the libraries in the side menu, and if I select a movie listed on the Home screen it will stream it just fine…but if I select a library (to say, look for a different movie), it spins for a while and then says the server is unavailable. Using a web browser works fine, my older iPad which is running iOS 12 works fine, as well as the Roku. I don’t have a Plex “account” (nor do I want one) as I just use the Plex server as a local media server for local devices on my network. I have no interest in accessing it remotely (and if I did, I’d just use my VPN set up). I actually have two different plexservers, one is running version 1.20, one WAS running 1.18 and then I upgraded it to 1.21. I get the same issue with both servers and all three versions.

Out of curiosity, and realizing that the account I created to post on this forum is, apparently, a “plex account”, I went ahead and signed in to that account in the plex app on my phone. After having done so, suddenly I could browse Libraries again. I don’t feel like I should have to have an account to browse the local media on my local media server with devices connected to my local network. Weirdly enough, though, after signing OUT of the account, the plex app was still able to browse libraries. So I guess…whatever?
