Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309
Player Version#: iOS 6.7.1
The latest iOS update 6.7.1 is causing my server to crash, I start a show then exiting the show artwork disappears nothing loads properly and I have to manually restart my server. My Nvidia Shield works fine as does remote play from other devices. Version 6.7 worked fine it’s only since the 6.7.1 update, unfortunately my app automatically updated before I realised. I have downgraded to numerous past server versions to see if that was the issue and I am still getting the same issues. It’s also on any iOS device as I use both an iPad Pro and IPhone XS Max.
This is what happens (Only happens when using mine or my wifes Iphones) Streaming on my PC/ casting to Chromecast from my PC, and Roku all work perfect!
Though if we do use the iphones we crash the server…

The server did freeze, i did follow the instructions was there something I missed? I had to manually get the files from the appdata folder (zip themed up and attached them). You can see at 16:00 it stops taking requests.
Ah, sorry, I made a bad assumption that the crash/zip file was from the iOS device and not from your PMS server – my bad! Thanks for posting; I’ll let a dev know – they’ll probably see it on Monday soonest.
the .exe file is still running however the server freezes until i manually restart it, this is only an iOS issue too as I have used other devices fine.
I also had this problem on 6.7.1, but then I signed out of the primary account and signed into a secondary account to try as suggested by DarkunderdoG. Didn’t like the secondary account as the app asked me to purchase the app again in order to remove the one minute playback limit (even though I have already purchased the app on that ipad ). So I decided to sign back in with my primary account, and then to my surprise, the crashing bug was gone! I’m now thinking that the secondary account may not be needed for this workaround, and just the act of signing out and signing back in may have reset something that fixed the issue. I’ll report back if I experience the issue again but so far so good
My PMS just stopped responding and needed to be restarted after using the iOS app for some time. Looks like that workaround did not truly eliminate the issue
I can’t see any server freezing. Is the issue on the iPhone XS Max with IP address 192.168.0.14 accessing the server ? I do see access from that device using Plex Web in safari as well. Is that working ok?
Do we have iOS app log as well to go with the server logs?
Would be good if you can get a screenshot of the issue, noting down the time when you see the freeze and then I can look at specific parts of the server log
For iOS logs - see Help and Support in Settings and then Share Debugging Data and email logs to yourself and then upload here with corresponding server logs and screenshot and time of the freeze.
It seems the 6.7.2 update pushed through this morning has fixed whatever the issue is as I cannot replicate the issue any longer and playback is working fine! Hopefully others that were suffering from this have the same luck.
