iOS app can't connect to my server

Hi,
I’ve got an issue where my iPhone and my wife’s iPhone can’t see our Plex server despite being on the same network as the server.
If I login using a browser on my phone I get a different message: App.plex.tv is unable to connect to the server securely.
Any help is much appreciated.
