iPhone Plex app cannot see server with secure connections

I have an iPhone that is updated to iOS 16.1 but it is showing my plex server as being offline while I can access app.plex.tv/desktop from another PC on the same network and play my media files running on my Plex Server.

Not sure if this helps but if I try to access app.plex.tv/desktop from Safari browser on the iPhone, it complains that it cannot access my sever securely but I can access this same webpage on another PC’s web browser with no errors on secure connections cannot be found.

Any ideas/suggestions on getting the iOS app to show my Plex server as being online on the latest iOS version of 16.1?

My wife has same problem.
She even bought the pass thinking it might help. Money down the drain

My iPhone Plex app finally showed my server as being active, turns out for me; I had tried downloading my media to the phone storage and the app would refuse all server connections after trying to do the downloads of TV Shows.

Update - the iOS App fails to show my server, I believe it has to do with me using the download button to download movies, TV shows since the iOS app breaks the server connection after I try to use the downloads feature.
