Make sure to update to the latest version of Plex for iOS released yesterday.
There had been some mix-up with the minimum required version of PMS in the previous update that is fixed with this new release.
Alternatively you’re of course happily invited to update your server. Looks like that hasn’t been updated in over 1 year (it seems your friends have newer server versions installed… that’s why those are still showing).
