Hoping someone or plex devs have figured this out. Once in a while a few channel details (shows) show up in the guide. Lately none at all. Logging in from safari on the same iPhone shows the guide perfectly. Epg works great in Roku and from pc. Only issue is this new experience plex iPhone app. Old app prior to ‘new experience’ was great.

So today most but not all listings are showing. Some of The future ones that are ‘grey’ though if you tap on them it actually gives you the description other channels are a solid grey with no dividers but it tunes to them if you tap on them. Oh and other thing I notice is 100% of the time the first station I tap loads but is black screen no audio either but if I tap a different station it also is black but if I tap back to the first again it now loads ok and plays with sound. I tried to delete the app, restart the phone and reload the app but the behavior is the same. I’ll note again THIS ONLY HAPPENS WITH THE iPhone app. All other apps on tv/roku and browsers (even safari on iPhone) work perfectly.
I can see quite a bit of discussion between users, however nowhere do I see Plex employee / dev step in and engage on the EPG issues, acknowledge this bug, and confirm they are working on it.
Thanks @pl_5309…sadly it’s a bit hidden (within a general discussion, without any tags) not to mention the response from @McWanke doesn’t make any sense to me at all…given I’ve removed the tuner and re-added with the issue reoccurring straight away.
Perhaps Plex could respond to highly specific posts that have called this out for quite some time, yet without any real engagement?
So many more threads, all without any meaningful response from Plex.
Why should users beg for a core premium feature to be usable, this is beyond ridiculous at this point in time. I could be wrong about this, but I believe that no one is able to see EPG data in Live TV for more than about 1 day.
Perhaps @elan can help focus some effort on this very broken feature?
Or just delete the feature if it’s not going to be fixed?
Yes, same for me too, can only see today’s guide from approx. 2 hours ahead, cannot see/view live TV, once you move past todays program guide then it goes blank! Works fine on my Mac with safari and Apple TV. (iPad Pro iOS app ver - 2025.17.0 (1082).
