Thanks @pl_5309 …sadly it’s a bit hidden (within a general discussion, without any tags) not to mention the response from @McWanke doesn’t make any sense to me at all…given I’ve removed the tuner and re-added with the issue reoccurring straight away.
Perhaps Plex could respond to highly specific posts that have called this out for quite some time, yet without any real engagement?
Yes, same issue here. iOS AND Android devices. No Live TV, EPG is unavailable and playback fails.
I could provide logs and screenshots and what-not, but it sounds like this is easily reproducible and obvious.
Apologies for possibly not following procedure or protocol, but all my mobile devices (Android) are only able to display today’s content in the TV guide. My main method of selecting TV programmes for recording has been destroyed by this ‘new experience’. I have updated the media server and refreshed the DVR etc and I am now lost trying to find a solution in a sea of forum blogs. Does anyone have any suggestions where I should head for answers.
The new Plex app on iPhone and iPad: the Hungarian language of the app has disappeared, the live TV function does not work: the TV show logos have disappeared, the EPG is there, but the channels do not start, or only a few. The EPG freezes even then. I haven’t even looked at it on other devices. It’s shocking that they release something that works half-way as if it were a beta. Shame. That’s not what we paid for!

Given how broken Plex has been on iOS and MacOS for years, I use Infuse for my file based playback & using Plex for Live TV.
HOWEVER not with the new code base, Live TV is totally broken for many of us:
1 - Guide data only works for the current day, change to any other day of the week and the guide data is blank (can see guide data when using web client). Screen shot at the end.
2 - Live TV is clunky, slow and often becomes totally un-responsive, just pressing the Live TV tab takes 2-3 secon…
So many more threads, all without any meaningful response from Plex.
Why should users beg for a core premium feature to be usable, this is beyond ridiculous at this point in time. I could be wrong about this, but I believe that no one is able to see EPG data in Live TV for more than about 1 day.
Perhaps @elan can help focus some effort on this very broken feature?
Or just delete the feature if it’s not going to be fixed?
