IOS - New app broke sharing to friends and can’t add new friends

The new version of Plex on iOS won’t allow me to add new friends in the share prompt (this was possible previously)

Granting access to media no longer actually works on iOS. The workaround was to login via web and do it there.

Any fix planned or is this not reported otherwise?

If you mean “single item sharing” it’s no longer supported:

Single Item Sharing: We’ll no longer offer the ability to grant access to single, individual items on a Plex Media Server (such as an individual playlist or single specific movie). Existing individual items will still remain accessible in the new apps. However, you will not be able to do so for new, individual items. You can continue to grant access to libraries on a Plex Media Server to family and close, personal friends.

Fair enough. Wish they’d give an explanation for the removal of features to be honest. If it’s a technical reason, totally understandable (for rational people anyway) but if it’s just to nerf the product, it’s kind of obtuse to take things away.
