SE56 has very kindly informed me (thank you again @SE56) that Plex Support are aware of this issue and are working on a solution, but was unable to point me towards an official known-issues list or any forum posts where I can confirm this. Instead he suggested I search for @Craig_Holliday and @BigWheel.
The only posts I could find were related to:
Plex app on iPad “Uh Oh Something’s Not Right” unable to access anything
OTA Live TV not working on 2025.18.0 (hasn’t worked in the previous either)
Neither of these describe the issue I and many other users are experiencing since the new iOS app was launched, which is no audio on any Live TV channels on iOS.
Another user informed me that this issue was reported several times during the Preview period but I have no further information on this.
I am therefore re-posting my issue here. Are you able to confirm if Plex Support are indeed aware of this issue and are working on a solution?

Dear Plex Support,
Since several weeks ago when the Plex iOS app was updated I have been getting video but no audio when trying to watch Live TV on any of my iOS devices. Video and audio are working fine on the web client so my server appears to be ok.
I have however also tried installing a fresh copy of Plex Media Server and configured Live TV on another QNAP NAS with the same HDHomeRun tuner and I am getting the same Live TV issue of video but no audio on any iOS devices.
Note there could be some confusion over this particular bug because it started off failing with this error:
Error Occurred
The operation couldn’t be completed.
(CoreMediaErrorDomain error
1718449215.)
However changing Local Quality to 720p (Medium) or lower resolves that issue but instead you get video but no audio.
All this is since the new iOS app release.
Please would you confirm if this is a known issue that you are working on?
