It has been a while since I’ve downloaded a title. I’m trying to now, and I’m finding that when I click the “Start Download” button, nothing happens.
What version of the iOS app are you using?
In the new experience app, the downloads should start showing up in the Downloads section under your account icon. Older versions had a dedicated section for pending downloads, the latest version is listing all pending, ongoing and complete downloads in the same tab.
It’s iOS 26.5
Nothing is showing up in the Downloads section after I try to click the button either. It behaves as though the button is broken.
It’s a rather old iPhone–a second-generation SE. No idea if that might make a difference.
The version of the Plex app might be more helpful than the version of iOS 
Should be something like 2026.11.0.
You should be able to see it in the app‘s settings (About) or the App Store.

The bug is generalized to all Apple devices.
Please go to setting of iOS itself in Privacy & Security>Local Network and toggle Plex off then on again. This happened to me about a week ago and it solved the issue for me. There are a few macOS and iOS setting like that which get flaky at times.
If still does not work let us know. We would need the app logs after trying

But I solved with disinstallation and reinstallation of the app.

Logs are in Settings > About > Download Logs
Uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick for me, too! Thanks for the suggestion! I should have thought of it, too.
