iOS unable to play downloaded media without one time activation

I am no more able to play downloaded media on phone with out one time activation on iOS
This was working till last week 10/5.
Today checked not working every time asking to purchase and media play stopping after 1 min.
Is this bug or Plex introduced some restriction?

Being able to playback Synced content without the activation was actually a loop hole. You should not be able to playback any media in the app without restrictions. Synced content was missed and that bug has now been fixed. Sorry for the confusion.

nice way to denying truth i remember it was mentioned in support documents that you can play synced content without activation.
do you want to bet i am capable to sue?

after receiving this kind of false and lie reply from team member i am not feeling good if i am gone get these kind of reply, i am definitely gone take some action also gone ask people to stop using and share this to everyone.

Let’s take into consideration you might have gotten this wrong in the first place before blaming others of lying.

  • Browse libraries from your own or shared Plex Media Servers
  • LIMITATIONS : When playing or viewing media from your Plex Media Server on the device:
    • Video is limited to one minute of playback
    • Music is limited to one minute of playback
    • Photos will have a watermark added

Maybe you used to fling/AirPlay the synced content from a friend?!

thanks for reply you have been reading updated content which recently modified.
i am talking about old document without notice it has been changed.
i would recommend talk to legal team i am downloading all documents what all consequences can be, i am also gone think next few days before taking any action so reply cautiously now try not to test patience i know i can prove from your old articles copy.

The ability was changed as I said. I don’t know if we ever mentioned that you could play synced content without the activation. We may not have said an activation was needed, but that’s not the same.

If you can provide me with a copy of where we say that you should be able to view synced content without an app activation, I will bring this up with management.
