Hello, I have one problem that I can’t seem to find a solution for (a few close answers but they did not apply to my case).
I have problems accessing my Plex server through my iPad (2018, fully updated, current iOS 15) using the official Plex app on iOS or through the web app using Safari. Some notes which I figure are better off listed:
I am on the same network as the server. I can access it just fine when using MrMC. I signed in to MrMC using plex’s web sign in. The server is setup to disabled remote connections but again, I can access the network just fine for other applications. It’s just the Plex native app and web app.
Other devices (iPhone, TVOS, other macs and PCs) work just fine. They are also in the same network.
I can see the iPad on the Plex server as being signed in.
I have tried the basic stuff: signed out and back in, remove “forgot” the network and added it back in, checked the device on the Plex server (it shows up), checked settings in the router (it is configured the same as the other iOS devices which do work), and tried accessing it through MrMC (which, to my surprise, does work).
Any suggestions or ideas on how to go about this problem? It’s not really time critical as I can still access my library through the third party app but any ideas would be appreciated.
Latest public release of PMS is 1.24.3 (released ~2 weeks ago; your version was released in December last year).
Current version of Plex for iOS is 7.24 (released ~3 days ago).
Ok, I manually went to the app on iOS and updated it (it wasn’t suggesting the update through the App Store like usual!). That didn’t fix it

It’s strange that’s it’s only the iPad. I checked and I’m not running a VPN or anything on it, but now I wonder if the iOS 15 update did something to the network settings. But then it works amazingly with MrMC! Oh well.
It’s been two weeks since Plex has worked on my iPhone either through the app or the online access. Haven’t heard anything from Plex about these issues and I’ve spent hours changing settings on my phone and the server itself. Even disabled my server and started a new one which only made things worse.
