Ipad says NAS is offline

Hello guys,
I’m using the latest ios, latest app version, etc.
My server is my Synology NAS. I’m at home watching plex on my local network. My LG tv runs the plex app, no issues. My iPhone has the app, watching there without issues. But when I open the app on my ipad Air 2, it says my server is offline. What can I do about this?

Thanks for the reply. The ipad is on the wifi network and works fine. I also reinstalled the app, and I could select the server, but it simply says offline…

If that fails, go to https://app.plex.tv

Settings - Authorized Devices - Servers (dropdown)

Look for a duplication of your server.

  1. Delete the duplicates
  2. Now restart the server and it will reappear in this list.
  3. Return to your devices and update them to point to this server. (most should notice the change).

Restarting my NAS fixed it. Very strange. I also noticed new downloads added to the synology nas would not start downloading. So that was definitely the issue. If anyone recognises this, feel free to help.
It seems to happen once every 30 days or so.
