Is anyone else experiencing DST time problems?

I added codec licenses to my config.txt this morning and after powering up I am unable to see my local PMS, login to plex, etc. The time resets to 6PM every time I reboot.

I’ve added pool.ntp.org in the system settings
Verified network is functional (able to control with iphone remote, ssh works)

So I reloaded from scratch and the issue persists.

The only thing that has changed since last night is the DST time change overnight and uncommenting of two lines in my config.txt file. I thought it was the codec license addition, but when I went to edit and revert I noticed that I had forgotten to uncomment the lines - so that edit alone should not have broken anything, and no change once I did uncomment them.

of course, after I post this and reboot one.more.time …it works and time is accurate.

happened again when I power cycled to change the memory split. it looks to have been a DNS setting. Time immediately snapped to correct once I pointed DNS to my WAN DNS servers and not my router.

Have you tried checking wait for network in System Settings?

Regards

no, because the network was available. it just couldn’t find time servers.
