Is it possbile to sync my flac files to android phone as flac rather than mp3?

I’ve been trying to sync my flac collection to my android phone but can only see the option of up to 320mp3 files. is there any way around this?

Plex can’t currently do this, but there is an existing request for it. Rather than spreading votes across multiple threads, it’s best to add your vote to that thread by clicking ‘Like’ on the first post in the thread.

If it’s any help I add flac files manually. I DL’ed a “wireless transfer app” that makes it real convenient. Windows 10 will ask me if I want to convert these files and I click no.

I’m guessing it converts your FLAC’s to MP3 to save space. You probably don’t have enough memory to do the whole collection in FLAC. A way around this is to pick and choose your songs. Not convenient and will take some time.

Will your player play FLAC too. Not all players do.

You can download a flac player for your phone or the easiest way is to convert to mp3
