Every time I configure the Plex app’s home screen on my Firestick, it inadvertently changes. A friend and I share our Plex servers. I configure my app’s home view, pinning the exact same modules from both servers to my home screen. Within a day/hours/minutes, most of my friend’s server info will populate where mine used to be. Basically I’m seeing duplicates of his pinned info and not much of mine. This particularly happens w/ “on deck” and “continue watching”.
Just trying to find out, is this a Fire Stick issue? Is the a Plex app issue? Is there a better device I should be using to avoid this cycle of frustration? From time to time, shutting the app down & clearing the cache restores the view but it’s not reliable and really not something I should have to do every time I maneuver through Plex.
Is it just time to invest in a new streaming device?
Remembering every custom position that a row or library might have been set at is a problem for it and many other apps. That is one of the reasons that the hub management is being moved to the server rather than the players. (and also preparing to implement some other features like custom rows that are coming that would need the change)

I see, that makes sense. So it’ll still be customizable, then? It’ll just be customized through the server? And the app will reflect the customization on the server interface, more or less?
The order of pinned libraries can be different but the rows for each library will be the same from server. I’d you don’t like to see "Top Movies in " and turn it off and will not show up in any apps since it pulls those from server.
My Home screen still giving me problems. For instance, my server is set up so “continue watching” for tv shows and movies are visible on the Home Screen. The Firestick app will only show “continue watching” for movies.
On my Firestick, I can see the “continue watching” items when I navigate to tv shows. But no matter how many times I try to add that hub to the Home Screen it is not visible.
What’s strange is that under “Edit Home Screen” it shows there are two “continue watching hubs.
If I reset customizations, it shows up just fine. This is so confusing.
