Is OpenPHT dead

With the audio lag bug still very much present and no updates for a very long time, is OpenPHT dead? It sure seems that way.

If it is dead, what's everyone using to replace it with on embedded devices like RPi's and ODroid C2's?

Thanks!

Even though 1.8 is not being updated, I have found it to be an amazing player. But I’m willing to consider another player.

Can you list some of the ways that KoidPlexConnect is better?
