Well, I too am upset. Plex for Tivo is on the blacklist, so that’s that. No sense in that ever changing. Once the “alexa” voice features were mysteriously removed, I knew it was all downhill from that point on, On the brightside, Plex is still a thriving company, despite abandoning Tivo. So much for having one remote in your hand and not having to switch tv inputs and using another streaming box.
As for all the connection issues I had yesterday, I ran upon another post that suggested changing the only way to get my Tivo Plex app to work was to go to the Plex Server page and make the following change: SETTINGS > NETWORK > SECURE CONNECTIONS > DISABLED. The recommendation from the 9/30 waring was to change it to “PREFERRED”, but that neve worked.
