Is the Remote Access down for everyone or just me?

I have been trying all day to get the Remote Access back up and running and despite all my attempts I am unable to get it to turn green for more than a second or two. Is the Remote Access down or something? Is it because I have to trade out modems due to a lightning strike? Or was it due to the cable company coming out here working on the lines?

I have tried various different things, from trying out different OS (Wn 7, Linux Mint Cinn, Wn 10) and nothing. I have tried port forwarding, but I can’t figure out how to do that with this router. I have an Arris SBG6900-AC Cable/Modem/Router and there’s an option to Port Forward in its settings, but when I try setting it up it gives me a Go Back! error.

So, I am unsure where to go and what to do to get this restarted. Any help would be great.

It has been a bit, has anyone got any ideas I could try? Anything I can do?

Problem has been resolved. We found that the UPnP was not enabled on our modem. We enabled it and now we have the remote access.
