Recently installed NAS v1.40.2.8395, and after much struggle, got it to scan my media files. Now what’s going on is that the server won’t launch. The software immediate throws me over to the plex-web interface.
Tried updating to v 1.40.3.8555 - no go.
Any thoughts?
That doesn’t sound wrong/bad.
You can alternatively open http://[Terra Master NAS IP address]:32400/web in a local browser. If it shows you the web app, that means the server is running.
What exactly are you missing?
I can’t get access to my server. No plex interface sees it. No server settings. When I open Plex from NAS, I am directed to the plex-webpage-general Version 4.132.3, as opposed to server version 1.40.2.8395.
Have you tried opening the version of Plex Web bundled with your server by using the NAS’ local IP address to open it (not via some shortcut on the TOS page)?
I originally installed from download from Terramaster. That’s the one that originally crapped out. I have since learned other TM NAS owners are experiencing same.
