Is there a way to use my phone as a remote control for Plex Media Player running on my PC?

Hi everyone! I’ve just moved into a new place and I’ve set my PC up in the loungeroom. This is the first time I’ve had my TV plugged directly into my PC and it’s bloody awesome! The only “issue” that I’m facing is that unless I buy a wireless mouse, I have to get up to pause/rewind/play something else/etc. but I thought to myself SURELY some way to control all or at least most of that stuff from my phone should exist.

My apologies if it should be easy to find but I have done a few Google searches and I can’t seem to find something like what I am looking for.

So does something like this exist? The most important thing for me is just being able to pause and skip forwards or backwards from my phone so that I don’t have to get up! If I can play the next episode or something else from the couch, that would be dope as well :stuck_out_tongue:

@bradmachell You’ll also need Plex Media Player set to TV mode running on your PC. Neither the web interface nor Windows store app is supported by Plex Companion. PMP is a much better player then either of those anyway…
