I know Plex can cast everything everywhere, which is awesome, but my needs are simple (I think). I have a PC running MPS and PMP connected to my TV. Ideally I want to just select what I want to play by browsing shows on my mobile phone or iPad and then Play on my PC (TV) … that’s it. It seems every time I have to select the player (my TV PC) and play … which is sort of ok, but doesn’t work with Live TV. Is there a setting I’m missing that means my phone/tablet app can just act as a remote control (and yes I know there’s a remote option, controlling up/down/left/right etc from the phone to PC, but that is NOT what I want … just want to find the show on my phone, press play and it plays in my PC. This seems pretty simple (well I know it’s not, but Plex has ALL this control, so because of that it is a simple request). I don’t need to stream live tv to my devices, just need to play it on my tv). Any suggestions please?
